My Thoughts On Best Coffee Brewers

by admin on January 16, 2009

If you asked me, then my thought is that there is no one best coffee maker. And I am not alone in having this thought, companies and even corporations all share this view!

If you do not believe me, all you need to do is to Google for it and what you would get is a group of best coffee makers. Almost any coffee brewer would claim that it is best in something and proclaim itself best in certain area.

How can there is one single best coffee maker when almost every coffee maker has their own claim on being best of certain thing? If everyone holds the top spot and there is no runner up, in reality, there can be no bes coffee maker.

I am not trying to sound deep or anything like that, other than the fact that it is very difficult to identify the real McCoy in terms of the best, I feel that the whole idea of coffee maker is very personal.

It has to fit into the user lifestyle in order to be useful to the user and then you can consider that to be the best coffee maker. So, throughout your life, there can be many best coffee makers, each catering to a different stage of your life.

What I am highlighting is my thought, and might not apply to everyone. I have this view that for someone that loves coffee, they would evolve on their need for coffee makers. Early on in life, there might want something that id easy to prepare, so probably something like instant coffee would suffice.

Then as they clamor for better tasting coffee, they might start to have need for drip filter or French press. As they grow in their career, they would look a solution that is easier yet at the same time, giving them quality coffee -the single serve coffee maker.

When they are older and towards retirement, they might want to learn more about coffee, and it is at this juncture, best coffee makers to them would be espresso machines. These are brewers that require certain skill to use and produce good coffee.

From my thought, you can see that different groups of people have different coffee profile and so corresponding to this coffee profile, they would have different requirement for best coffee makers.

So, how can a single machine cater to so many different needs? There would be some machine that would appeal to the masses, one that many people would love to own. But, when it comes to a machine that would best value add to the user, only the user after evaluating their lifestyle would know which one is best for them.

This is my thought on what are best coffee makers. I share the thought with some folks that there is no one single best coffee maker, but there are machines out there that are meant for each individual, so in a way, all the machines would be best to some individuals out there.
